i put a load into the above mentioned washer, went back to transfer load to the dryer, opened the lid and water was still in tub with wet load. attempted to push dial to wash and nothing, turned dial to rinse and nothing either. however, if if turn to spin it goes on and spins, turned off. went back next day and water drained down leaving a bunch of wet clothes. not sure where to begin.

sounds like it is dumping water at end of cycle.
try water sensing switch w10292584
