HI folks,
I have a Hotpoint fridge model number RLA34.
The thermostat will not turn the fridge off.
Any ideas what could be wrong.
Its quite draining with the fridge motor running all the time in the kitchen.
Many Thanks.

A fridge running all the time could indicate one or more problems, are food products freezing in the refrigerator compartment? Is the evaporator coil in the freezer compartment iced up or defective damper not allowing proper airflow to cool the refrigerator compartment? Is the condenser coil clogged with dust or a fan motor not operating? Take a closer look at your fridge and use an accurate thermometer... Post back with what you observe...

Just measure the freezer back wall temperature, should be below zero, post results.
