Dear Team, I removed the fine filter AP3794323 at the bottom of my GE Profile dishwasher, and noted that the white tube that it fits into has disintegrated. Does this tube come with the fine filer or is this a separate part? Can I simply buy a piece of white tubing? If so, how long?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Here are your parts Parts for GE PDW9980L00SS Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.comIf I understand your post then no, you cannot get/replace just the tube as it is part of the sump (item 505 in section 05)(see it's pictures). Click on it's picture or description for more views/info of it. Since the tube has disintegrated the rest of the sump is also probably going and if you get a hole in that then you will have water all over. I would replace the sump. Also a good idea to replace the pump connector (item 455 in section 05) as it uses the same type of rubber as the sump. I would pull the dishwasher to replace theses. In the long run this will save you time and trouble. Use a turkey baster or sponge to get as much water out of the sump as possible before uninstalling the unit. |
