Hello and thanks in advance for any help !I've got this undercounter fridge/icemaker (GE Model T14AK-B, circa 1989) that is wonderful, but it started tripping the GFCI circuit (I know, it's not supposed to be on one but was for last 4 years...) On a regular circuit, it would try to start the compressor, then quit.In looking at the fan motor, I dusted it and the contacts fell apart, so am thinking a short circuit there perhaps? Can't find any replacement motors pictured that look like mine. I just need the motor to install into bracket, then perhaps a generic starter (if needed) for the compressor? Again, thanks for any help , because the repair people in NE GA don't seem to want to be bothered to even look at it, and I would pay $250.00 just for labor to fix it !!!

Concentrate on the compressor, if that's blown, the fridg is not worth fixing. If the compressor has a mechanical, copper wire type start device and there are no burned wires to it, your compressor is probably bad.
