New to forum. Sorry if I am posting issue that is already posted. I read thru most and searched, but none where like my issue.
My upper oven did not heat over 200 degrees no matter the setting when I first bought my house. It would take over 45 min just to get to preheat to 200 degrees. I had a tech come out and tell me it was the control board. I replaced the control board myself via APP site and tried the oven again. although, it now heats up to desired temp setting, Oven still takes 30+ minutes to heat. It will not maintain temperature once you place a meal in it. I have a thermometer in oven and temp drops 50 -75 degrees. Bottom oven works fine, so I swapped temp probes. Same issue. Bottom oven works, top has same symptoms.
Is it other small board that I have not replaced yet?
Thx,
Kevin

Are you sure that the model number has a 0 at the end as I cannot find any info on this unit. The below info is for a KEBV208MMT02. Here are the parts Parts for Whirlpool KEBV208MMT02 Wall Oven - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. Do both the broil and bake elements work? The unit switches back and forth between the two elements in pre-heat and bake modes. Could be one of them is burned out. Looks like the other small board is for the door lock so should not cause your problem. |
