My dishwasher is leaking through the hole in the tub where the heater goes through it. When the water fills the tub higher than that hole, water pours through the hole and runs down the wire. It's a wonder it didn't burn down the house.
What is the best way to repair it?

Here are your parts Parts for Frigidaire FDB510LCS2 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.comCould be a couple things. The nut might just be loose. The nut may be bad. Replacement nuts are at the end of section 09. The sealing washer may be cracked. It is part of the heater assembly. The easiest way to get at the heater connections is to pull the unit out from the counter. Be sure to shut power to the unit off when working on it. If you have long arms and are used to working on things that you cannot see you may be able to get at it without pulling the unit but it will be a chore. |
