Performed a self clean on the oven and lost complete power to it. Opened up the control panel and found the thermal fuse had blown (thanks to help from reading through posts on this forum). Replacing this fuse has returned power to my unit and the control panel appears to be working fine with fully functioning display. Now the oven will not heat up, it just constantly runs. I have read that there may be another thermal fuse internally. Any ideas or help?

Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool WOS51EC0AS00 / - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. Yes there is another thermal fuse (item 18 in section 01) that just kills power to the elements. I am assuming that the unit stays in pre-heat. Could also be a problem with the power. The elements require the full 240 volts. |
