When re-assembling the dryer drum do I first attach the drum support, ball hitch and then try to install drum from top of unit? Or do I screw the drum onto the support after snapping the ball hitch into the nylon bearing?
Previously I did the latter and now the screws have vibrated out(after 7 months) causing the drum to fall. I'm sure that the screws were tight. Should I use some locktight?
I'm hoping that the threads or screws have not stripped in the process.

you need to screw the hitch onto the back of the drum first. it also helps to pre-thread the holes that you will be screwing into the hitch. you want those screws to be tight, yes. ive never used locktight before...you want to be careful what kind of stuff you put in there as it could get into your clothes...
