Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/10/2013(UTC) Posts: 1		Once or twice a day I notice my freezer is shut off and ice starting to melt. Lights work. If I unplug for a second and replug in, the compressor starts up and all is good for the next several hours. I tried replacing the relay and that didn't help. Anyone here help out with ideas please?

Sounds like the control board (if the unit has one) is faulty. Unplugging it is resetting the board so it works OK for a while.
