Hello,

A small piece of plastic broke on the plastic dryer button for my LG Dryer.
The model # is: DLE7177RM

Everything I see out there says that I have to buy a whole replacement panel.
I don't think this is the exact panel, but you get the idea of what it looks like:

All I need is the plastic power button you see in that image in the lower left.

Is there any way to buy just that part?
Even if I could find out where people keep appliance junkyards, I would dig through there to get it.

Thanks for any help you can offer,
George

Hi,

Did you have any luck with this? I have the same problem with my LG dryer.
Thanks,
Beth

Unfortunately, no.
I have not heard anything about this or had any luck finding a replacement part. I've just been sticking my finger in the little hole where the power button was supposed to be. :P

I had a similar problems with the power button. Turns out it was broken. I couldn't find a control boards so I designed a functional replacement power button using 3D printing. Here is a link if you want to purchase one.
