A friend gave me her Kitchen Aid Superba washer (model KAWS777EQ0). To get it home I had to put it on it's side in a van and now it won't begin the wash cycle on any setting. It hums a little instead. It will aggitate if I start the cycle at mid-cycle and it will rinse, spin and drain. I'm embarrased to tell my friend I broke her washer. Any idea what the problem might be? Thank you in advance for your help.

Post a photo copy of your wiring diagram and timer chart. Should be inside the control panel either folded up or pasted to back panel. Can't find copy for that old (96?) model.
