Hi, I just ordered a new cooktop for my Maytag slide-in electric range (old ceramic cooktop shattered). The part number I ordered from Appliance Part Pros is part 12001852 (for Maytag range model number CES3760AAW. Can you please give me step-by-step instruction on how to take the broken ceramic cooktop off my range and replace with new one coming? Many thanks.

Received the new ceramic replacement cook top for the Frigidaire range with no instructions. Please give step by step instructions as broken top has wiring, new top has none. Need to know how to connect wiring.

Nita, All wires are connected to the heating elements which are attached to the glass top. All such parts have to be removed from the old glass and installed on the new one. The instructions are attached to the reply. Gene.
