I have a GE Profile washer that is leaking water very slowly into the tub when the washer is off. I placed a bucket into the washer and after an hour or so it has about a cup of water in it. I turned off the water to the washer and it stopped. I tried doing some research and think that it may be the valve triple water. Would that be a correct assumption? Part Number - AP4412517. Washer is WPRE6150K2WT.
Thanks for any help in advance.

I received the valve and have replaced it. It seemed pretty simple but after my wife ran a test load of laundry it appears to still be leaking. I have the bucket in the washer and it has some water in it after a while. Is there something else I need to do or replace?

Unplug the unit to see if it still leaks.
This ensures that power is not opening the valve. |
