Hello. I have a Frigidaire electric range. The EIC board does nothing (no display, completely blank), bake and broil do not work, but the stove top burners work (but the LEDs for hot surface do not light).
I replaced the EIC board (twice!); that did not work. This model does not have a thermal breaker/fuse onboard.
I have element continuity, I have 240v at the terminal block and 240v outlet (2 120v legs, 1 neutral).
This seems to have occurred on the same day I had a new electric service panel installed, seems fishy, but I appear to have ok power at the outlet and terminal block.
I'm totally stumped. It's like the EIC is not getting and sending anything 120v, but the 240v top burners are ok.
Thanks Ryan

Here is the wiring diagram. http://manuals.frigidaire.com/p...pringfield/316255355.pdfI also think that it is a wiring problem. The element LEDs and the control board all need the 120 volts. If the oven light also does not run then I would put money on it being a power problem. All 3 of the above parts are independent of one another. Sounds to me like you are missing Neutral. Unplug the unit and check at the receptacle for the 120 volt sides. Be sure to check to Neutral and not ground. |
