gbd277pdq10 model # whirlpool gold double oven. The lights on the control panel are not working. They went dim the other day and now have completely gone out. All of the oven functions still work, just no lights on the control panel. I cleaned the ribbon with alcohol, still no lights. What should I check next? serial # xs1209859. Thanks!

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool GBD277PDQ10 Wall Oven - AppliancePartsPros.com

There is really nothing you can check.
I looked at the control panel and could not see any lights on it so I am assuming you mean that the display is dead. This is actually part of the control board.

I did look in the parts but there was not a picture of the control board so I could not tell if it uses a LED or a fluorescent display.

If it is fluorescent then it could be that one of the capacitors for the display power supply is bad. Often just replacing these fixes the problem but you need some electronics/soldering experience to do this.

If it is LED then I would replace the control board/timer.
