While replacing the clutch on my washer, I stood it back up when I removed it and when I laid it back down to put the new clutch in and a small part fell out. Looks like a brass nail 2 inches long with a flat side and a hole on the end.
Any idea what it is? Or where I can view a full parts list online? My searches come up empty.

Most likely this is the transportation pin which is not needed any more.

I found one in my Kenmore series 80, it was inside a small plastic cup attached to the underside of one of the frame elements. It had no function.
