Having problems with compressor relay kicking in and out. Replaced relay but this did not solve my problem. Someone suggested that the thermostat was cycling too often so I replaced it, this did not help. I had a repairman check it out and said the compressor was bad. I took a chance and let him replace it. It worked for a month and now my problem is back. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Try to get him to replace the compressor, no charge.
If he failed to replace the dryer, and fully purged the system, there may be contaminants in the system that damaged the compressor.
