Here are your parts Parts for Frigidaire FPHD2491KF0 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.comHere is the tech sheet http://manuals.frigidaire.com/p.../Kinston/67500607317.pdfIs the wash pump/motor running? If not. Check for voltage (120 volts) across it when it should be running. If there is 120 volts then the pump is probably toast if there is no noise from it. If there is noise it could be something is jamming it. If there is no voltage then it is probably a blown control board or a problem with the wiring from the control board to the motor. If the wash motor runs. Check that the filters etc are clean. A common problem is low fill. They usually fill to just under the heating element but I am not sure on this unit Often if it is a low fill issue, you can hear it, the pump will growl because it is sucking in air. You can check this by adding a quart or two of hot water after each fill during a cycle. Just be careful to not over fill it. If it now washes OK then I would check the screen filter on the input side of the water valve for a partial plug. If dirty clean it. Do not permanently remove it from the valve as it is there to keep crud out of the valve which could hold it open and cause a flood. Just be careful to not over fill it. |

I can not hear the motor at all we had an older dishwasher hooked up previously that worked fine. We were just upgrading and I actually think my husband fried the motor or something because he smelled something burning and the wires were not copper colored anymore they were silver. But you can't here the motor trying to run or nothing all you hear is the dishwasher filling and draining. It is filling to the right level.

You will have to get it checked out with a volt meter to see if it is the motor or the control board. |
