My dishwasher will run for 40 min. and the door will pop open.
I have changed the door latch and the gasket and the door still pops open

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool KUDS01FLWH6 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

I looked at the operators manual but it was rather useless.

This is weird problem since you have replaced the latch.
The only thing I can think of is that the vent is not opening, pressure is building up inside the unit when the heater is on and that is popping the door.

Perhaps try a cycle without heated dry to see if that makes a difference.

If it is the vent not opening then it could be the vent itself or the control board.

I've gone for several months with my Kitchenaid door popping open several times per cycle and always starting over at 64 minutes. The door also made horrible noises like seals squeaking or springs binding when we opened the door.

Finally I pulled it out and greased up the frozen plastic pulleys for the door spring mechanism and generously greased the little ropes where they slide over the fixed rope guides. This solved the the horrible noise problem and also stopped the door from binding as it closed.

I also cut the wood opening in the cabinet a little larger because the door might have been scuffing the wood and pushing it off center a little when closed. Really just a poor installation. Leveling may have helped too. Anyway it works fine now.
