what is the purple wire run because mine isn't sending power from the terminal at the top of the machine where it starts off the timer and it runs down to a relay or fuse whatever you want to refer it to which in turn passes the power to the heating element which is my problem, I temporarily attached the two red wires, ( the red one with the white stripe that runs from the start button to the bottom to a 4 way relay and the solid red wire which runs to the blower ect, which a purple that runs down to the heating element and I made the element get hot so what does that purple wire at the timer actually do or supposed to do?

OR what do I need to replace/fix to make my heating element to kick on?
is it the cycling thermostat?

Sorry but I do not understand your post.
But see the attachment for the wiring diagram which should be helpful to you.

FYI: the purple wire you refer to will be called violet in the wiring diagram.
