My undercounter ice maker has been producing less ice over the past week. I do not hear it dropping new ice as frequently as before and the ice must be melting slightly as the available ice includes water. I have a dedicated water filter installed on the exterior of the cabinet and wonder if it could be causing problems. I have been able to find information for refrigerator ice makers but nothing regarding stand-alones. Any help would be appreciated.

Ice production is a function of temerature, might want to lower the temperature if you can.
