Hi can you help me, I have replaced both front glides & felts on the drum support front, also a new blower wheel that was broke and replaced the belt and idler wheel and am still getting a noise of metal on metal. could you please tellme what you would think is still causing this noise or what I should ckeck next. could it be the front and rear felts not covering completely ? :confused: confused, kerry. Thank you!

[COLOR="Blue"]could it be the front and rear felts not covering completely ?[/COLOR] Is a possibility but I doubt it. I cannot say what is causing the problem. You will have to dismantle the unit and try to find the cause. Since it is metal on metal ypou should be able to see some wear marks. If possible try to narrow down where in the unit the noise is coming from. I know that often this is not possible, the whole dryer seems to be making the racket. Below is a link to another possibility. Click on the "Check this out" link at the bottom of the page.
