Hi,

I am having trouble with my accubake. We actually have been having issues 12 months after we bought it. When using the oven the broiler stays on and the temperature skyrockets and will burn any food. I used to be able to go into the test menu (cancel, cancel, start) and do the "auto test" and that would reset it enough to work, but since last weekend it has not responded. I am guessing that the panel and temperature fuse need replaced, but not 100%. I did read the faults and it had a control panel error and a runaway temperature error. I cleared the faults, but now I cannot get them to show back up in the fault list. Any input on what parts would be needed would be greatly appreciated!

There is a relay on the oven control that controls the broil element. That relay has welded contacts. The oven control will need to be replaced and is available at the link below.

Thanks for the info, it is what I suspected. Does the replacement still have the same type of contacts or has it been changed to avoid these issues?

It is hard to say but the new control has a one year warranty.
