Dear support,
Problem issued: Freezer doesn't start. Control/User board is blinking.
After reading questions and Answers I found (analysed and concluded) out that my controlboard or Thermistor considered as defect. Compressor is tested and is ok. Overload Relay is tested and ok. The power (current) that should be going to the Overload Relay is not available.
The problem occured here is, I think is due to Power Surges. In the country where I live, we have regurlar Power (current) outages. I know its not a common problem that the control/user board get damage easy. The Thermistor might damaged as well due to Power surges. Could you please verify my explanation when it comes to Power outages?
If I could convince the local Power Supplier that the problem is related due to Power Outages, I might get a compensation to fix the freezer.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Kind regards, Stephen

The thermistor would not be affected with a power surge, it is basically just a resistor that changes with temperature. The control, however, is very susceptible to voltage issues. Typically, with power outages, when the power comes back on, there is a slight voltage spike momentarily. These electronic controls are affected by these voltage spikes. So, I suspect you will need to replace the control, available at the link below. Frigidaire 297370600 User Control Board - AppliancePartsPros.com
