Hello, Rick! Do you have a meter you can use to measure resistance with?

With a meter, there is a very simple test to determine what is happening with your oven. The most common problem with this style of range is the gas valve. It is a dual valve in that is has a coil for the broil and bake burners. If either of these coils fail, the control will not allow either oven function to work. So, we can easily test both of those coils. If you remove the lower drawer from the range, you will see the gas valve at the back of the drawer area. There are 3 wires on the valve. If you remove those wires and test between the middle terminal on the valve to each outer terminal, you should read very close to 216 ohms of resistance. If either one is far from that, the valve will need to be replaced. The correct valve for your model is available at the link below. Whirlpool W10293048 Valve-Gas - AppliancePartsPros.com
