Refrigerator and freezer not cooling. The fan is running, the coils are clean. I can hear a clicking from what I am guessing is a relay in the back. I removed the start relay from the compressor and heard a rattling noise when I shook it. The compressor is very warm. Should I change the start relay or is it the compressor toast? Thanks for your help

That start device should not rattle. It is faulty and will need to be replaced. The correct replacement for your model is available below.
