I have a frigidaire electric stove /oven. Its operated by dials. I noticed under the back left stove burner there is a vertical hollow (open at both ends) leading frm back,left stove burner vertically into the oven
Im wondering y its there & what is its purpose?? The pipe is open at both ends.

That is the vent for the oven. It is there by design and should not be covered. Some have a honeycomb type insert to help keep smoke and odors down, but not all. Not to worry, it is there on purpose. ;)
