I have a Maytag Epic Z Washer, it locks the door but won't turn on. Then the door locks and you have to manually unlock it. We purchased a new panel/computer for it and replaced it today and nothing worked. I found a piece of paper that was for diagnostic stuff and was able to figure out it is giving me an F22 error code. Now what? I'm not sure what to do next.

The F22 means that the control is not "seeing" that the door is locked. There are several switches that must close for the control to initiate a cycle. Since you have replaced the control already, the lock is most likely faulty. You may have a connection issue, but it is unlikely. The correct lock for your machine is available below.
