I have an LG microwave that gives the p4 error code which I have been told means an open humidity sensor. What I don't know is how to replace this sensor. Any help is appreciated.

That sensor is mounted on top of the microwave cavity, under the metal cabinet wrapper. It is in the LR corner, shown as number 5011 in the diagram below. Microwaves can be hazardous to service, even while unplugged. Stay away from all of the components on the RH side as you face the microwave once the wrapper is off, specifically the large capacitor. The sensor you need is available below.
