how do i check to see if my compressor is good on this model ...it is a 230 / 3 phase that uses an inverter board ... im trying to figure out if the compressor is bad or if the invertor board is bad

the compressor doesnt kick on everything else in the fride appears to work

The start and run windings should both measure about 6.4 ohms of resistance. The service manual for your refrigerator is below, page 5-3 begins instructions on testing the inverter and compressor. GC5SH Manual

Best to verify each compressor winding is not shorted, or shorted to ground. If ok, you probably have a bad inverter, but it is best to monitor the input current to protect the new inverter if the compressor draws excessive current.
