Hi All,

I have a KitchenAid Convention Oven/Microwave Combination Unit. The step down transformer blew out and I just replaced it. Now, the Display Control Board is not lighting up. Ovens (both microwave and convention) function (including interior light). Is it possible both display boards blew out as well when the transformer blew out?

Thanking you in advance for a replay.

The given model number is missing several digits (probably 4 of them ) at the end. I cannot look up the correct tech sheet without them.

Yes, it is possible that when the transformer blew it took out both boards.

Even if the control board is fused a voltage spike will blow electronic parts before the fuse has time to blow.
