f-5 code come up starts beeping have to lock oven latch and hit cancel to stop beeping everything seems to work

F5 code for Tappan is usually the main control is bad or something in that wire harness. And from the looks of it on this site and other sites that part is no longer available. You may be able to contact the manufacture and see if they can rebuild it for you but it doesn't look available for purchase brand new.
