I have a whirlpool Ultimate care II washer model # LSQ9010LWO that makes a weird noise during the spin cycle and then doesn't seem to spin all the water out because my clothes are coming out sopping wet. I have three kids and my dryer just went out about two weeks ago. I've got to fix this one myself because.I can't afford to hire someone right now. Must have a washer running. Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated. I've seen all the timer switch comments and I am definitely trying that first but I am pretty sure that isn't the issue. So, whats my next option? Thank you for any help!

Post a video to youtube so that we can hear the noise. There are several causes to no/slow spin problems. Could just be a worn clutch, gearcase leaking oil into clutch, sticking brakes, worn drive block, bad gearcase, clothing stuck between the tubs...etc. Let's hear the noise first.

Does it spin at all? With lid open, hold down the lid switch so you can see while in spin mode.
