I recently FINALLY fixed my dryer, with the help of this amazing site, by replacing the igniter and then the coils. My concern is that when the flame ignites (and it is all blue), it extends all the way to the back of the cabinet, and seems like it pools/collects just behind the igniter and metal "hood" that covers the gas outflow. There is an adjustment valve on the inflow tube at front of dryer, but it seems VERY sensitive, and seemed to shut off flame instead of turning down. My dad mentioned the orifice, but that seems to be (according to diagram) farther back in tube, not at the end of the pipe. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
