Anyone know how to reset the bottom of a refrigerator door handle? Ours came loose when someone pulled on it right after closing it. Would like some advice before attempting it so as not to break the entire handle.

Here are your parts. Parts for Whirlpool GS5SHAXNL00 Refrigerator - AppliancePartsPros.comTake a look at the door diagram. You will see that it clips into a bracket which is attached to the door. Usually you just have to move the handle up to release it from the clip. Be careful to not scratch your door. On a few of them you have to slip a thin piece of plastic in so it will un-clip. If you click on a parts description or picture a new page will open with a FAQ which may be helpful to you. Check both door's handle/clip FAQ as the handles are the same but one of them may have a better FAQ. |

arianna41 Below are your parts. Parts for Whirlpool ED5FHEXVS04 Refrigerator - AppliancePartsPros.comtake a look at the door handles and mounts. If you click on a part's description or picture a new page will open often with info in the Q&A section about removing/installing it. Your door/handle is basically the same as the original post. Sometimes they are difficult to get off. You may have to slide a thin piece of plastic between the handle and the clip to get it to release. An old credit card works. can be very fiddly to get it in the correct spot. |
