Randomly there is a loud humming or what seems like a fan struggling to run from the freezer section of the side by side. It may do it for a minute or for hours at a time. It it very record-able loud. I had a repairman come out today but of course it did not make the sound. He did not check anything. Has anyone experienced anything like this? He told me to look for a forum?

Your evaporator fan motor gets a variable frequency square wave from the motherboard AP4436216. Your board is most probably putting out a corrupted square wave. Replacing the board should fix this problem.
