I have a side by side Kitchen Aid 42" built-in refrig with ice and water dispenser in the door. I'm finding the water overflow "dish" and grate in the dispenser is always filled with water. I've found a slight air gap where the ice dispenser door flap seals and i can see water drops forming on the ice chute. There is a light frost inside the door. Do the dispenser door flaps normally seal tight? Will replacing the door flap and spring assembly fix this and give me a tight seal?
Thank you

Thank you Did the flap door spring fix your frost build up and the water on the water tray of your dispenser back in Oct 2013? I am having the same problem with my Whirlpool side-by-side and I see there is a half inch gap and the door is not closing properly. Thanks, Roger
