No, but intermittent connections will blow the bulbs, check the sockets.

Try spraying the cold control with a non-residue contact cleaner available at wall mart, just spray the outside all over while exercising the control, just might fix it, I just hade one the other day I fixed

In back of the control panel where the knob is to control fridg. temperature.
