Hello,

Was hoping to get some help. I have a Whirlpool ed25uexhw00. It was running fine then all the sudden it stopped running. It has power, you open the doors and the light comes on but its not cooling. I found that if I turn the temperature dial off then on the lights turn off briefly and turn back on then the compressor starts running again and it starts cooling for a while until it randomly stops again and doesnt come back on until i turn the temperature dial off then on. Any ideas?

Remove the back control panel screws, peal off the front plastic overlay and remove the remaining screws.
Tap on the temperature control, if it is intermittent, replace it. most probable problem although you might try unplugging/ plugging in the power connector.
