I have been trying figure out for over a week what is wrong by elimination. The solenoid that shifts from agitate to spin works and lid switch seems to be working.I tested the capacitor myself and it read high then droped down using a ohms meter.I was told that you need a special tester for this? Some have said the motor won't run at all if the capacitor is bad? When it shifts to spin the motor is not turning. Some have said that it is a two speed motor and part could be bad. Some said the lid switch could still be bad?I need to get this working as they don't make a 22 inch washer and I have no more than 24 inches in the closet.I would buy a new motor but it does agitate.I will be grateful if I could get feedback on this.Bewildered in:confused: Florida
