Neither side gets cold. woke up and everything in freezer had thawd. Poured hot water in the drain. It was not clogged. Checked the temperature controls. Turned the freeer to zero and the fan makes a noise. Then I turn it back up to about 5 and theres a fan nose up top by the damper then a whirling sound then clicks and stops and I hear a constant motor sound from back. But after a while (1 hour) no sound and again neither side is cold. I cleaned the coils at the bottom rear from dust. No ice anywhere as I've read everywhere to look for. It hasn't been cold enough to make ice anywhere from what I can see. At a loss for the problem. :(

Check the compressor in the back, should be warm and vibrating and the condenser fan should be running.
