We have a Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner IV dishwasher. A green light above the air dry button is blinking. To the right of the air dry button is "control lock press &hold" . The dishwasher will not start now. The cycle time display shows 2 dashes. If you push the air dry button, the light above the "rinse only" button starts blinking. Pushing any other buttons changes nothing on the display.

A model number may help others help you.

Usually this type of problem is either the control panel (keypad) or the control board.
The normal way to trouble shoot is to check the keypad outputs if they are good then replace the control board.
Still a bit of a crap shoot but odds are better that you will replace the correct part the first time.

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool GU1500XTKS0 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.
It has the keypad outputs.

Have you tried unplugging it or flipping it's breaker off for a couple minutes to see if it will reset?

Thanks! We tried resetting breaker and leaving it off for a while. No change at all. I appreciate your reply.
