Hello all, I have an lg gas dryer that won't heat up. Here's what I know and have done already.first off the dryer starts and runs perfect, only thing is that the cooling lt stays on all the time? Not sure if it did before. It comes on drum spins, igniter lights and it looks like top solenoid is powered up but bottom is not. I replaced the gas solenoid valve ass. And then figured out my fluke was not reading old one out right. So i grabbed another meter. I replaced both control boards thinking that had to be it. Nothing, so i checked all 3 heat limits. 2 on burner shroud and the other in exhaust duct. They showed 9.5k ohms each. The temp rod in exhaust duct shows 1.5 ohms. The other switch, forgot the name, but its a little black box on left side of burner shows 1 ohm. So i believe that all those components are good. Also took the motor centrifugal switch itself apart and contacts are good and i read them out with meter. The centrifugal portion is good with both springs attached and i even oiled it up with light oil thinking maybe it was stuck. Also checked belt off limit and it's good. Door switch is good. And finally vent is not clogged at all. What now? Dynomite?

It's an LG that's your first problem lol....There's sales pitch is "LIFES GOOD" when they sell things....can i ask you a question after you've torn that unit apart and are staring at it right now in the back of your head are you thinking "Lifes good thanks LG"? lol.......Here's some video's to help you out.
