Hello
we have Shifted to India 2 years back wanted to know if any service is available for the Brand Frigidaire Oven here in India as i carried the oven to India. I am not able to use the oven and i am unaware of the systems here. I will be glad if anybody can help me resolve my issue. Or anyone can share how to use it on LPG.

Go to the below site and download the user, install and wiring diagram for your unit. http://www.frigidaire.com/Custo...Support/Videos--Manuals/Here is the LP conversion kit. It includes instructions. Click on the picture for more info on it. The install instructions say that it comes with the unit but it may have been discarded over the years. Part number: AP4374168
You have several issues with converting the unit. First it has to be converted to run on LP. I do not know if the LP in India have the same pressures as North America so you will have to check on that. Also getting the LP kit may be a problem. AppliancePartsPros does not ship to India. Next is a power problem. India uses 230 volts at 50 hertz so you require a converter to change it to 120 volts 60 hertz. The unit has a convection element so the converter would have to provide at least 15 amps. It also needs a North American 15 amp receptacle. With luck someone else will jump in with info that is specific to your location. |
