GE Monogram 48" built-in, side-by-side

The motor runs continuously. There is a secondary fan that also runs, until either door is opened. That fan shuts off while a door is open, but comes back on when the door is closed. Both sides are still cool/cold.

I vacuumed the entire overhead motor compartment, for no improvement. I also turned off the power for a few minutes and nothing changed. Any thoughts?
