Hi,

I have a Whirlpool Gas oven, approx 5 yrs old, Model # #SF362LXTS0.
This gradually started over a 1 month period. The oven ignites, heats up and then cuts out. The broiler works, the range top works... It's just the oven.

I had tested the temp probe with my multi meter, I was getting 0 for ohms, when I should be reading approx 1100 ohms, I even cut the jacket back a bit and still came up with 0. So I bought a new temp probe, which ohms fine..

with the new probe, it does stay lit a bit longer (15 min) , but cuts out still.

Can anyone please help direct me to where I should be looking next?
Gas valve / Circuit Board (is what I'm thinkn) / or the ignitor-gas burner..
My ovens gas burner has the ignitor riveted to the side, IT IS NOT the heater element type, looks more like what you have on your grill outside..

I appreciate all your thoughts , suggestions and efforts....
TY
