No water entering dishwasher. The problem began after I shut off the whole-house water flow to repair the kitchen faucet. The water valve to the dishwasher is open.
Tonight I can open it up and test the inlet valve and float switch. But might it be something simpler that is related to the water source having been shut off for a while?

Rust/Crud could of got clogged in the water inlet valve screen here's some video's to help you render the problem. Also take your inlet hose and put it in an empty 1 gallon jug you should be able to fill the gallon jug up in 1 minute if you can't you have a supply water pressure problem.
