My dryer ignites and the burner runs for 5 seconds and shuts off. Ran the diagnostics on it and no codes. I thought it was the high limit thermostat, replaced it and did not fix it. I removed the thermostat from the combustion chamber and put it away from the chamber and the dryer heats fine...... Help I am at a loss now:confused:

I let it run for 5-7 minutes and it did the same thing each time it tried to run, igniter would get hot, flame would ignite and then a few seconds later it goes out and the temp on the diagnostic screen would reach 300 and go out. When the flame ignites, the tips of the flame are right on the high temp thermostat. So I moved the sensor away from the combustion chamber and it runs fine.

And when I say it goes out, I mean the flame goes out when the temp reaches 300*
