I have a very basic model GE electric stove, and my oven won't get hot enough. Both the bake and broil element are not heating properly. When I turn the dial to bake the red light that goes off when it's reached the proper temperature doesn't even come on. It comes on when I turn it to broil, but it still doesn't get hot, just warm. Could it be an element if both aren't working? Or maybe a switch problem?

A model number may help others help you.

Could be a problem with the oven sensor.
Take a look at 7, 8, 20 and 21 on the following page.
