Had a leak in GE gfc530t 1/2 hp disposal, found small puncture in upper housing. Disposal is fairly newish and in good condition otherwise and seems a shame to junk it, but... I can't find a replacement part for the upper housing in my on-line search - all the parts sites have the same diagram which shows the upper housing but does not offer it as an available part.

Surely there must be a way?!?!?! Is there a secret society somewhere out there that can covertly get me the part that GE doesn't want to offer so that they can sell more diposals?

Help me fight the MAN!

Contact Ge directly and see if they can do anything for you since the schematics don't sell that individual part i'm sure with it being a newer unit they should be able to help.
